GoodReads | Eleanor & Park  ★★★★
This tells a story of falling in love before the age of internet - mix tapes, comic books, holding hands, long night calls, etc. This is not an ordinary love story wherein a beautiful boy meets a beautiful girl, fell in love and live  happily ever after. This story is real, everything in this book is real, it’s about love and everything else in between. If you’ll have to define ‘What is the meaning of love?’, I would highly recommend this as a reference. ;)
Here are some of my fave lines:

“I just can’t believe that life would give us to each other,’ he said, ‘and then take it back.’‘I can,’ she said. ‘Life’s a bastard.”
“You saved me life, she tried to tell him. Not forever, not for good. Probably just temporarily. But you saved my life, and now I’m yours. The me that’s me right now is yours. Always.”
“Holding Eleanor’s hand was like holding a butterfly. Or a heartbeat. Like holding something complete, and completely alive.”
“Eleanor was right. She never looked nice. She looked like art, and art wasn’t supposed to look nice; it was supposed to make you feel something.”
